Hello

Emily Babel, LMT

In 2021, I graduated

from Harrisburg Area

Community College's

massage therapy program. From day one, I knew massage was my passion in life. I take pride in my ability to make my clients feel like they have transported into another world and escape from daily life. I specialize in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, range of motion therapy, and pain management for sciatica, chronic pain, & headaches/migraines

Why I Started Bloomly Massage

I didn’t start this business just because I love massage—I started it because I needed more. More meaning, more freedom, and more connection to the work I do every day.

For years, I worked in settings that left me uninspired and burned out. I missed feeling creative. I missed having control over how I showed up for people. And I was constantly trying to juggle my job with real-life priorities—like my dog, my home, and my mental health. It never felt like anything really fit.

So I created something that does.

I named this practice Bloomly because it reflects exactly what I’m trying to do—bloom into the version of myself I want to be, by helping others bloom into theirs. The phrase “where healing takes root” isn’t just a cute tagline—it means something to me. Starting this business is how I took root. It’s how I’m building a better life for myself, one that’s grounded, intentional, and full of purpose.

This practice lets me bring calm, comfort, and relief straight to people—in their own space, on their terms. And it gives me the chance to show up for others the way I’ve always wanted to—genuinely, with care and intention.

It’s not just about massage. It’s about growth. Healing. And building something real—from the ground up.

My Story

Before discovering the world of massage, I was a full-time student and part-time home health aide. I was a flunking college student, that also hated my job and knew I had to make a change. Getting into massage therapy was actually an impulsive decision. I wanted to get a hands on trade and saw that HACC offered a massage program. I moved out to Harrisburg on a Saturday, started the class that Monday…and knew I made the right choice on the first day. What I love most about my job is feeling valued for my ability to help others. It’s the reason I wake up excited to go to work. In my free time, I enjoy taking long hikes in the great outdoors, traveling new places, spending time with my dog and loved ones, and playing piano.
