About the Role
This is not a typical spa or on-demand gig. Bloomly mobile sessions are intentionally designed to deliver a calm, high-end, spa-like experience in clients' homes. You'll be trusted to represent the Bloomly brand independently while providing consistent, professional, and thoughtful care.
This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys autonomy, feels confident working solo, and takes pride in creating a seamless experience from arrival to breakdown.
Position Overview
As a Bloomly mobile therapist, you will:
- Accept mobile bookings through Bloomly's scheduling system
- Travel to clients' homes within the designated service area
- Transport and set up a your own massage table and table-warming system, along with any other needed supplies
- Deliver high-quality, intentional bodywork aligned with Bloomly's standards
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients
- Operate independently without on-site supervision
- This role is fully mobile. You will not be required to perform studio sessions unless mutually agreed upon for special events, couples massages, or vendor opportunities.
Compensation & Position Details
- 55% commission + 100% of tips for mobile sessions
- No hourly requirements or guaranteed bookings
- Flexible, self-selected availability
- Contractors are paid per completed session
- Contractors are responsible for their own transportation-related expenses, including gas, vehicle insurance, and vehicle maintenance.
- Booking platform, client communication, intake forms, reminders, and payment processing handled by Bloomly
- Access to Bloomly's established mobile client base
- Use of Bloomly mobile table, supplies, linens, and add-on materials

Requirements
Responsibilities
Accept or decline mobile bookings at your discretion.
Travel to clients' homes withing Bloomly service radius.
Transport, set up, and break down your massage table and equipment.
Provide customized massage sessions based on client intake and needs.
Maintain a calm, professional presence in clients' homes.
Communicate clearly with clients and the business owner as needed.
Return and replenish Bloomly linens and supplies as needed.
Uphold Bloomly Massage's experience standards, professionalism, and client care.
Manage your own taxes in accordance with 1099 independent contractor status.
Mobile Experience Standards
Bloomly mobile sessions follow a consistent, high-touch experience. Contractors are expected to deliver sessions using Bloomly-provided supplies, which may include:
Clean Bloomly linens (laundered and maintained by Bloomly)
Massage Table w/ table warmer
Hot towels
Aromatherapy
Massage cups (if trained)
Blankets and eye masks
Bluetooth speaker and white noise for ambiance
Bloomly provides access to massage tables, linens, oils, and add-on supplies through the studio. Contractors may access supplies as needed to support accepted bookings.
Requirements
Active Pennsylvania Massage Therapy License
Professional liability insurance
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
Active Pennsylvania Driver's License
Active car insurance
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with paying clients (preferred)
Reliable transportation and ability to transport a massage table + suitcase
Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
Strong professionalism, discretion, and situational awareness
Excellent communication and client service skills
Self motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
Comfortable appearing occasionally in Bloomly marketing content
Must reside within reasonable driving distance of Quarryville, PA, as regular access to Bloomly's service area and studio resources is required

Bloomly Massage is a small, thriving mobile and in-studio massage business based in Quarryville, PA. I'm currently seeking a highly independent, reliable, detail-oriented licensed massage therapist to provide mobile massage services for Bloomly clients.
Mobile Service Area & Travel Details
Bloomly mobile massage services are provided within a 15-mile radius of Quarryville, PA. The majority of established mobile clients are located in and around:
Quarryville, Buck, Holtwood, Kirkwood, New Providence, Willow Street, Strasburg, and Conestoga.
Bloomly's mobile services are intentionally limited to:
- Private rural homes
- Nursing homes and long-term care facilities
We do not offer mobile massage services in:
- Lancaster City
- Hotels, motels, or short-term rentals
Occasionally, an established client may fall just outside the standard service radius. In these cases, a $1.50/mile round-trip travel fee is applied and communicated in advance.
This service area allows for efficient scheduling, reasonable drive times, and a safe, professional mobile environment for both clients and therapists.

Bloomly specialized in slow, intentional, therapeutic bodywork with a spa-like feel, even in a mobile setting. Services may include:
- Swedish and relaxation massage
- Deep tissue
- Trigger point therapy
- Lymphatic drainage

- Hot towel compressions
- Aromatherapy
- Prenatal massage
- Add-on spa services (foot scrub, scalp treatment, sinus relief)
- Custom pressure based on client needs
Therapists are encouraged to offer modalities they are trained and confident in, and are welcome to develop specialty services aligned with Bloomly's philosophy.

Bloomly's mobile client base is well-established and primarily composed of long-term clients who were personally vetted and worked with prior to the owner's relocation.
These clients include:
